Rules & Regulations – Guwahati Cricket Academy

To ensure a safe, disciplined, and professional training environment, all players, parents, and visitors are requested to strictly follow the rules and regulations of Guwahati Cricket Academy.


1. Admission & Enrollment

  • Admission is open to players based on age group, skill level, and availability of slots.
  • Registration is complete only after submission of the required form and payment of fees.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

2. Training Schedule & Attendance

  • Players must report at least 15 minutes before the scheduled training time.
  • Regular attendance is expected; repeated absenteeism without prior intimation may lead to disciplinary action.
  • Missed sessions due to personal reasons will not be compensated unless officially informed and approved.

3. Discipline & Code of Conduct

  • Players must maintain discipline, respect coaches, staff, and fellow trainees at all times.
  • Any form of misbehavior, abusive language, bullying, or indiscipline will result in strict action, including suspension or termination.
  • Players must follow all instructions given by coaches during practice sessions.

4. Dress Code & Equipment

  • Proper cricket attire, including sports shoes, pads, gloves, and helmet (where required), is mandatory.
  • Players are responsible for their own cricket kits and personal belongings.
  • The academy will not be responsible for loss or damage of personal items.

5. Use of Facilities

  • Academy facilities, including indoor turf pitches and bowling machines, must be used only under coach supervision.
  • Any intentional damage to academy property will be charged to the concerned player/parent.
  • Spikes or footwear that may damage the turf pitch are strictly prohibited.

6. Bowling Machine Usage

  • Bowling machines will be operated only by authorized staff or coaches.
  • Players must wear protective gear while practicing with the bowling machine.
  • No player is allowed to adjust machine settings without permission.

7. Health, Safety & Fitness

  • Players should be medically fit to participate in training.
  • Any existing injury, illness, or medical condition must be informed to the coach in advance.
  • The academy will not be held responsible for injuries arising from negligence or non-compliance with safety guidelines.

8. Parental Guidelines

  • Parents/guardians are requested not to interfere with coaching sessions.
  • Feedback or concerns should be communicated politely to the management during designated times.
  • Parents must ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of minor players.

9. Holidays & Closures

  • The academy will remain closed on declared holidays, maintenance days, or due to unavoidable circumstances.
  • Any changes in schedule will be informed in advance through official communication channels.

10. Media & Photography

  • The academy reserves the right to use photographs or videos of training sessions for promotional and educational purposes.
  • Parents/players should inform the management in writing if they have any objection.

11. Termination of Membership

  • The academy reserves the right to cancel membership without refund in cases of serious misconduct, repeated rule violations, or non-payment of fees.
  • Players may discontinue training by providing prior written notice, subject to academy policies.

12. General Policy

  • The management’s decision will be final in all matters related to academy rules and discipline.
  • Rules and regulations may be updated from time to time, and members are expected to comply with the latest version.
